Chyulu Development Foundation Engages in 60/40 Model Training at Vibo Eats Africa
The CEO Mr Mwololo and Manager Dr Mary Ndolo of Chyulu Development Foundation paid a strategic visit to Vibo Eats Africa offices in Westlands for an intensive training session on the transformative 60/40 Model.
The training focused on strengthening community-based organizations (CBOs) to sustainably support vulnerable populations through a shared value approach — where 60% of benefits directly impact the community, while 40% sustains operations and growth. This model ensures long-term program sustainability while maximizing social impact.
During the session, key areas covered included:
Sustainable feeding program implementation
Transparent financial accountability structures
Community empowerment through inclusive participation
Monitoring and evaluation frameworks for impact measurement
Scaling social enterprise models to benefit vulnerable households
As a women-led organization committed to improving livelihoods in Makueni County, Chyulu Development Foundation continues to position itself as a strategic partner in food security, smart agriculture, and social protection programs.
This engagement strengthens our collaboration with Vibo Eats Africa and reinforces our commitment to ensuring that vulnerable communities benefit equitably through innovative and accountable development models.
Together, we are building resilient communities through sustainable partnerships.
