Chyulu women league at Mzima Springs Tsavo West National Park
The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), in partnership with Echoes of Chyulu Tours, successfully organized an inspiring trip for the Chyulu Women League to Tsavo West National Park.
The initiative aimed to empower women as ambassadors of conservation by giving them firsthand experience of Kenya’s rich wildlife and natural landscapes. During the visit, participants learned about biodiversity protection, ecotourism, and sustainable practices that support both community livelihoods and ecosystem preservation.
The trip formed part of ongoing efforts by the Chyulu Development Foundation and its partners to strengthen women’s leadership in conservation and foster a deeper connection between local communities and the natural environment.
