Date: August 25, 2025

Location: Africa Rural University Uganda

The Chyulu Development Foundation (Kenya) team — CEO Mr. Harrison Mwololo and Manager Dr. Mary Ndolo — held a fruitful meeting at Africa Rural University (ARU), Uganda with ARU representatives Ms. Doloka Namutosi (Quality Assurance Officer), Ms. Josephine Nampewo (Resourceful Persons Officer), Mr. Jackson Kusiima, and Mr. Mwanika Byamukama (Lecturers at ARU).

The engaging discussion focused on advancing the Nourishment Economy, a holistic model that connects soil health, carbon credits, beekeeping, agroforestry, nutrition, and community empowerment to promote sustainable livelihoods and ecological restoration.

Both institutions expressed their shared commitment to regional collaboration — empowering women and youth, enhancing food security, and driving climate-smart innovation across East Africa.
